Sometimes I do things like this… :)
For those who were interested, the Doula single is officially available for download, free from the Waails bandcamp page! Just click through the image! The single also includes the track Ocean Row. Again, a million thank you’s to everyone for the wonderful messages and support. I’m thrilled that you guys are enjoying my work.
I’m also happy to report that the full six song Waails EP will be out by the end of October. I can’t wait to share it with everybody.
A good friend of mine, Mr. A’s music is fantastic, give it a listen. If you like what you hear, troll his discography for more!
Awesome news for folks who don’t live in the Kentuckiana area that are dying to get their clammy hands on a copy of “LURID”! Now it is available on bandcamp for the super low price of a $5.00 minimum. If you like the work a whole, whole lot, you can choose to pay more if you wish, it’s all up to you!
Feel free to keep a tab open and listen to all tracks and see if there isn’t something that tickles your fancy…
Here is a shot taken just over a week ago when the finished covers and such came in for “Lurid”. A preliminary run of only 30 hard copies was burned, signed, numbered, and given an individual doodle and/or saying by Mr. Phlit, (a.k.a. Matt Clayton). These 30 were split into two groups and are currently on sale at two locations in Louisville, KY. They are: Black Widow’s Halloween Store (blackwidowhalloween.com) at the 5000 Shelbyville Road location, and also at Louisville’s most intense Haunted House, THE DEVIL’S ATTIC! Phlit scored several rooms at the devil’s attic, is hidden in the house as one of the actors, and also created it’s theme which can be heard on the radio spot playing on local clear channel radio stations! For more information, go to thedevilsattic.com!
Phlit’s first official release now has a name! “Lurid”. Here is the cover and tracklisting for the album designed by Jewlz Swick.
It is important to note that the album name “Lurid” was also suggested by Jewlz and it was so good that I had to use it.
